1. What types of hiring organizations can post job ads and consultancies on the platform?

We invite you to post your job ads and consultancies on our platform, if you represent:

  • a philanthropic foundation, an impact fund or an impact investor
  • a non-profit, international organization, social enterprise or consultancy firm who is active in the field of global and local  education, EdTech, evidence-based programs and AI for social impact.


2. What is the geographical and content scope of the job ads, consultancies and professional profiles posted on the platform?

You can post job ads, consultancies and upload professional profiles related to global education issues, including EdTech, digital learning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL), as well as evidence-based programming and AI for social impact.

There are no geographical limitations on the positions you can advertise.  


3. What job types and professional profiles are posted on the platform?

You can post jobs at all levels (junior, mid, senior level). The platform is best suited for mid-senior level positions or consultancies. Both the jobs and consultancies, as well professional profiles should align with the following main functions:

  • Program Managers
  • Policy and Advocacy Managers & Advisors
  • Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Managers & Advisors
  • Knowledge Managers
  • Community Managers & Facilitators

Jobs and professional profiles we generally don’t accept on the platform:

4. What ethical criteria must be applied by the users of the platform?

Only hiring organizations committed to social impact, equity and do no harm approach are allowed to use the platform.

It is strictly prohibited to use this platform to promote organizations, jobs and positions related to industries such as the arms trade or involved in any kind of illegal activities. We will reject registrations by such organisations.


5. Who is responsible for the content of the job ads, consultancies and professional profiles posted on the platform?

The hiring organization that creates the job ad or consultancy is responsible for the accuracy of its content. To ensure that every job ad and consultancy meets the formal criteria outlined in this document, the PurposePhil Career platform team will conduct a quality check before publishing any job ad or consultancy.


6. Who is responsible for the content of the job seekers' or consultants’ profiles posted on the platform talent pool?

The individual who creates their own professional profile is responsible for the accuracy of its content. To ensure that the content meets the formal criteria such as thematic focus and key roles outlined in this document (see point 3), the PurposePhil platform team will conduct a quality check before publishing the profile. It will also regularly request the profile owners for status update and delete inactive profiles.


7. Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

By using the PurposePhil Career platform, both organizations and job seekers or consultants agree to the platform's terms and conditions. These include respecting the platform's rules, maintaining confidentiality, and acting in good faith throughout the collaboration process. 8. How much does it cost to post a job ad or a consultancy as an employer?

You can choose from a set of one-off job ad and subscription options with the possibility to highlight your job ads on the platform and on social media.

We offer free job postings to small non-profit organisations with a limited budget who fall into our focus sectors.

10. How does PurposePhil Career source its job listings?

Currently, most job opportunities on PurposePhil Career are personally curated by our team, who independently discover and select high-quality positions from across the web. These positions align with our platform's focus on global education, EdTech, evidence-based programs, AI for social impact and philanthropy. We personally evaluate each opportunity based on its relevance to our community, the organization's impact mission, and the quality of the role. While we're working to increase direct postings from employers, our curation process ensures a consistent flow of relevant opportunities for our community.


11. How do you select jobs for curation?

Our curation process prioritizes roles that:

  • Align with our focus areas (global education, EdTech, evidence-based programs, AI for social impact, philanthropy)
  • Come from organizations with demonstrated commitment to social impact
  • Offer meaningful career development opportunities
  • Provide competitive compensation relative to the sector
  • Represent diverse geographical regions and perspectives

We apply the same ethical criteria to curated listings as we do to direct postings (see point 4).


12. I am an employer or recruitment agency and found my job posting on your platform. What are my options?

We curate exceptional opportunities to increase their visibility within our specialized community. If we've featured your job posting, it's because we believe it offers value to our network of purpose-driven professionals. As an employer, you have several options:

  • Keep your listing: We're happy to continue featuring your opportunity at no cost, driving qualified candidates to your original application process.
  • Enhance your visibility: Organizations whose jobs we've curated are eligible for a 50% discount on our premium listing packages, which offer enhanced visibility and targeting.
  • Request modifications: If you'd like us to update any details about your listing, please contact us.
  • Request removal: While we believe our curation benefits your recruitment efforts, we respect your preferences. Contact us if you'd prefer we remove your listing.
  • Establish a partnership: We welcome the opportunity to discuss more formal recruitment partnerships.

13. Do curated job listings receive the same visibility as paid listings?

Curated listings appear in our general job search results but do not receive the enhanced visibility features of our premium paid listings, such as highlighted placement, social media promotion, or inclusion in our email newsletter. Employer organizations can upgrade curated listings to premium status at a 50% discount from our standard rates (see our Pricing).


14. How do you ensure the accuracy of curated job listing?

Our team regularly reviews curated listings to ensure they remain active and accurate. However, as these positions are sourced from external platforms, we recommend candidates always verify the most current details on the original job posting before applying. We include a direct link to the original listing with every curated position.


15. Can I request that you curate a specific job posting?

Yes! If you've seen a job posting elsewhere that aligns with our platform's focus areas, you're welcome to suggest it for curation by emailing the details to contact@purposephilcareer.com. While we can't guarantee inclusion, we appreciate community recommendations.


16. How often do you updated your curated listings?

Our team regularly reviews the curated section to add new opportunities and remove positions that are no longer active. We typically update our curated collection weekly, focusing on quality rather than quantity.


17.What is the relationship between PurposePhil Career and the employer organization whose jobs you curate?

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, PurposePhil Career has no formal relationship with organizations whose jobs we curate. Our curation is an independent service we provide to connect our community with meaningful opportunities across the global education and social impact space. We are not involved in the application or hiring process for curated listings.
